Website Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern use of the Coastal Crest website and its content.

Last updated 23 August 2026

1. About these terms

These Website Terms & Conditions govern use of the Coastal Crest website and its content.

Coastal Crest is operated by Daniel Garcia Contreras, a sole trader trading as Coastal Crest (ABN 53 668 061 382).

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use.

2. Website information only

Website information is general in nature and explains Coastal Crest and services we may offer.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, website information does not constitute personalised property, financial, investment, legal, taxation, accounting or other professional advice.

Individual circumstances may differ.

Appropriate professional advice should be obtained where necessary before significant property, financial or legal decisions.

3. No client relationship created by using the website

Accessing the website, submitting an enquiry, communicating with Coastal Crest, booking a consultation or participating in an initial consultation does not by itself create a client, agency or professional advisory relationship.

A formal client relationship only arises once required engagement and appointment documentation has been completed and accepted in accordance with applicable law.

4. Property information and market commentary

Property information, suburb commentary, market observations, statistics, estimates, examples and other property-related content are general information.

Property markets and individual properties change and information may become outdated.

Coastal Crest takes reasonable care but does not represent that every item will remain current, complete or suitable for every individual.

Third-party information depends on information supplied by those sources.

You should independently verify information material to property or financial decisions.

5. No guarantee of property outcomes

Nothing on the website guarantees:

  • availability of a particular property;
  • purchase at a particular price;
  • availability of off-market opportunities;
  • success of a negotiation;
  • increase in property value;
  • investment return, rental return or capital-growth outcome; or
  • any particular financial or property outcome.

Past market performance does not guarantee future performance.

6. Our services

Website service descriptions are general.

The precise scope for a client is determined by applicable engagement and appointment documentation.

If website information conflicts with properly executed client appointment or engagement documentation, the applicable engagement documentation governs the professional services, subject to applicable law.

7. Fees

Any fees, pricing or service packages displayed on the website are subject to the terms applicable to the relevant service.

Fees, charges, commissions, authorised expenses and payment arrangements for a formal property-agent engagement will be documented as required through the client appointment process.

Nothing on the website overrides those agreed terms.

8. Third-party professionals and services

Coastal Crest may provide information about or introduce clients to independent professionals such as mortgage brokers, conveyancers, solicitors, building and pest inspectors and other property-related professionals.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those providers operate independently.

Clients decide whether to engage them and should satisfy themselves that the provider is appropriate.

Coastal Crest is not responsible for independent third-party acts, omissions, advice or services except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Commercial relationships and benefits

Coastal Crest does not ordinarily receive referral commissions from third-party professional service providers introduced to clients.

In some circumstances, including certain new-build or developer transactions, Coastal Crest may be entitled to receive a fee, commission or other benefit from a developer or another party rather than charging the client in the usual manner.

Where such an arrangement applies, the relevant commercial relationship and remuneration will be disclosed to the client as required before proceeding with the relevant engagement or transaction.

10. Third-party websites

Third-party links may be provided for convenience or information.

Coastal Crest does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms.

A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website content including text, branding, graphics, layout, design elements and original materials is owned by or licensed to Coastal Crest and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, non-commercial use.

Content must not be reproduced, republished, distributed, modified or commercially exploited without prior written permission except where permitted by law.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use the website:

  • unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • to interfere with website operation or security;
  • to gain unauthorised access;
  • to introduce malicious software;
  • to misuse enquiry, consultation or booking functionality; or
  • to infringe rights.

Coastal Crest may reasonably restrict access to protect systems or users.

13. Website availability

Coastal Crest does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website.

The website may be unavailable for maintenance, technical issues, third-party issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Parts of the website may be modified, suspended or discontinued.

14. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coastal Crest is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website information where that information was not provided as personalised professional advice.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including rights that may arise under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in the website, our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The current version will be published on our website with its most recent update date.
